Concrete Screed Pricing Estimator & Cost Guide
When it comes to concrete shaping and flatwork equipment, pricing isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why we built this page—to help you understand the factors that influence cost, see how different tools compare, and find the right fit for your crew and your projects.
What influences machine costs?
When we send you initial pricing, we are generally giving you the cost of what the top-level, most-sold product is. Why? This tells you what it will cost for you to be prepared and ready to roll out of the gate. Looking at one of our battery-powered products but already own enough batteries? Your cost will go down as we choose the product option that doesn’t include them. Need a custom drum that is just a bit too big for our standard Hydra-Screed? We have a heartier motor option available where the price will go up. While our pricing might not fit every budget, you can always ask for what options we have available that may help reduce cost.
What are potential recurring costs for your products?
Depending on the machine chosen, recurring costs (items that have a distinct lifepan) can include our guide ring, form runner, the drum on a Curb Roller, or the tube for a roller screed. The drum on a Curb Roller drum for example is anticipated to shape 20,000 to 40,000 linear feet. The machine base itself should give you many years of use depending on job frequency.

How quickly can the Curb Roller or a roller screed pay for itself?
We tend to say the Curb Roller can pay for itself in 1,800 feet. In an example from our article The Contractor’s Guide to Curb Rolling Machines and ROI: If 200 feet of 6-inch-by-18-inch concrete curb costs $2,500 in labor and materials, five 200-foot jobs in a month equate to $12,500. There would already be profit when accounting for the price of the machine and a stock drum. While roller screeds are more difficult to pin down based on tube size and other variables, there is an average 30% increase in productivity over traditional methods. You also get some of the flattest finish when used correctly.
Do you offer bulk purchase discounts?
Yes, we sometimes offer discounts for bulk purchases if direct from us. This can be based on the time of year or special show pricing. We also do recommend checking with your local Curb Roller Mfg dealer for their deals. You can contact our sales team for more details.
Do you offer financing?
Yes! You can visit our Financing page for more information. You can also cut to the chase and complete this form for First Citizens to see if you are approved.
Who are your products not beneficial for?
While we would love to see every concrete contractor with a Curb Roller Mfg machine, we understand and appreciate that not all jobs are created equally. Our reference articles below are a great resource to make the best decision for your crew. As far as the Curb Roller platform, it may not be a feasible solution as a stand-alone option for extremely large pours. That said, it can be a great supplemental tool to work behind your slipform paver or for areas they may not fit. Ideally, the platform works best on projects ranging from 50 to 5,000 feet.
