Troubleshooting & FAQ

How often should I change the hydraulic oil filter?

The hydraulic oil filter should be changed every 300 hours. Here’s how:
1. Stop engine.
2. Place a drain pan under filter.
3. Remove and replace filter.
4. Refill hydraulic oil reservoir to proper level.
5. Dispose of oil in an environmentally safe manner.

How often should I change the hydraulic oil?

Change hydraulic oil every 600 hours/annually. Here’s how:
1. Stop engine.
2. Place a drain pan under suction strainer.
3. Remove hose (J) to drain oil.
4. Remove, inspect, and clean suction strainer (K). Replace suction strainer if damaged.
5. Install suction strainer (K) and connect hose (J).
6. Refill hydraulic oil reservoir to proper level.
7. Dispose of oil in an environmentally safe manner.

What can the Hydra-Pack be used for?

A powerful 13 horse Honda GX390 gas engine easily runs our Curb Roller CM4000 and Hydra-Screed HS3000 systems, as well as hydraulic saws, jack hammers, and other hydraulic tools. At the size of a standard generator, the Hydra-Pack HP1300 easily fits in the back of your pickup or job trailer.

The Hydra-Pack weighs about 300 lbs before gas is added to the engine fuel tank.
